Chaand Raat is the night before Eid-al-fitr. This is a time of celebration when Muslims gather for enjoying full moon night which signals the arrival of the Islamic month of Shawwal and the day of Eid. Once the moon is shining, people wish each other Chaand Raat Mubarak. Girls from every age design their hands with mehndi and wives do prepare desserts for the next day of Eid and enjoy shopping at moon night.
