World Diabetes Day is being observed today across the World including Pakistan with resolve to greater collective efforts to prevent diabetes and improve the quality of life of all who suffer from it particularly the poor and disadvantaged The day was introduced by the International Diabetes Federation and the World Health Organisation in 1991 and the theme this year is similar to the last year`s — Diabetes in children and adolescents.
