In our country. The juggler is a very popular entertainer. Our people cannot spend much money on recreation. A juggle dose not demand high fees for- his show. Therefore. Large crowds gather wherever he goes to show his tricks. Last month. A juggler came to our college perform his tricks. He was a big, middle-aged man. He brought a couple of boxes containing his equipment whit him. The boys gathered in the hall, talking and laughing. They looked determined to give a tough time to the juggler. The opened his cases and arranged his things- a few. Coioured balls, a basket. A small tin. A piece of red cloth. A couple of sticks etc. on a table. He appealed to the students to watch his tricks carefully and without making a noise. The boys answered with a big shout. The juggler opened his show by throwing up a balls in the air and catching them with his hands. He threw up again as soon as he had caught them. Half a dozen balls danced in the air. all at the same time as he managed them very skillfully. The next trick was more clever. The juggler borrowed a ring form a student and placed it on a handkerchief in full view of the speactators. Then he invited a student to come forward and tie the ring in the handkerchief. A student who was considered very clever .went on the stage and very carefully and securely tied up and handkerchief. The juggler took the handkerchief. Threw it high up in the air. caught it in his hands. And gave it back to the same student put in it his pocket and went to his seat. The boy opened the handkerchief, but there was no ring in it. The juggler laughed and said where have you hidden the rich? Be honest and return it. The boy looked puzzled and ashamed. The spectators shouted and laughed at the boy, who wanted to speak but could not say anything. The juggler said, I forgive you this time. Remember that other may be cleverer than you. Saying this he picked up an apple lying before him. Cut it into two and the ring fell on the ground. The boys clapped in appreciation. The juggled showed many more tricks. I will briefly mention only one. He planted an apple seed in a flower pot. Watered it and covered it with a basket. When it was uncovered a few minutes later there appeared a small apple tree with half a dozen fresh apples on its branches. This time, the applause was even louder than before.
